Approach with senior/ younger politicians and subject matter experts
APDN's management and staffs have been working with the senior/ younger politicians and various subject matter experts under different forum and in various capacities. They have developed particularly good relationships with the senior and younger but more influential politicians in their respective party positions. APDN has been maintaining the relationship with the senior and younger politicians of Nepal through series of rapport building events. 

APDN believes that the younger politicians are second generation leaders who are the main leaders of tomorrow's Nepal. Further, they can also act as pressure groups for motivating their senior counterparts at present. Therefore, APDN gives more emphasis to develop the second generation leaders' capacity for developing culture of mutual respect, cooperation, collective leadership on country's colossal agenda. Presently, APDN team is holding a series of dialogue with the groups and individuals  of Nepal's senior and younger political leaders and many thematic experts on the issues of state re-structuring in the light of country's federalization process,  diversity management, democracy building, security sector reform, country's peaceful transformation and so on.

Approach with social and identity groups

Acknowledging  aspirations of newly emerged social and identity groups, APDN has been carrying out the programs of this nature in collaboration with many regional level organizations of the country . Under this programs, APDN officials undertook preparatory field visits in different regions, identified and interacted with the new and emerging identity groups, selected participants for the regional level workshop events, used experts to write analytical papers on the thematic reports of the CA Committees, and gathered the views and concerns of the identity groups in all 5 development regions of Nepal. Through these initiatives, APDN have been able to develop its wide range approach to many social and identity groups. In the near future, it has been planned to hold a series of countryside events with these groups in the different part of the country. Through these proposed events, it is believed that APDN's approach  with many social and identity groups will be further developed along with political leadership and experts.

Capacity in media handling and information dissemination

APDN believes in information dissemination to empower the common people on the content and process of all political process  so that large section of unaware population who are generally kept in an isolation from political elite can have knowledge over the country's burning concerns. This is necessary to do it hence the country's young democracy can be strengthened. To achieve this noble goal, APDN has selected "media campaign" as an effective tools of information sharing such as; radio programs, TV programs, fact finding missions, sponsored articles and so on. In media handling, APDN has own trained human resources, well equipped program studio, good network with more than 50 local radio stations and 3 regional based TV channels. Regarding the media campaign, APDN has been producing series of radio programmes, radio drama, PSAs on the issues of human rights, peace building, governance, state restructuring and so on.

Team of scholars with countrywide network

APDN is an institution of various thematic experts and a team of peace, conflict and development scholars. It has also maintained a roster of experts which will be available when needed. APDN has its own more than 25 network organizations covering  centre, regions and districts adept in organizing the events in different layers.
